The Next Chapter…Karen + ZEN

I have some big news...

Last month I resigned from my position as Buyer at The Green Pineapple in Key West! Over the past four years, a part-time gig turned into a full-time job of helping three high-end boutiques in town. It was definitely a wild ride. I learned a ton and worked with beautiful people and products from all around the world. There’s a bit more to the story and maybe someday I’ll post it here but basically, I wasn’t looking for a job at the time - it just kind of found me. The experience for me was fulfilling because I was able to use my creativity, eye for style, love for pretty things and business experience all at the same time!

As I hang up my shopper title and step into a future where I am totally free again, I feel like there are infinite possibilities ahead of me.

The next chapter is all about living life fully.

It will take practice to control my workaholic tendencies, putting the phone down and just leaving the computer in the office, but I’m committed to a life with more balance and boundaries. I am appreciating the amount of quality downtime in my days already, especially moments with my hubby Clint, hanging in the yard and being home more.

My intention is to do what fuels me - operate slower and take time to ‘JUST BE’. This reset will allow me time to create with passion and share more of my work with the world. I look forward to reconnecting with the ZEN community. For those of you outside of the Keys, this means more collections available online, newsletters, new monthly education snippets and live events on social media.
