Ever look at your jewelry collection and get overwhelmed about layering? Where do you start? Which gemstones compliment one another? What length should your necklaces be? Should you mix metals?

Layering jewelry is an art. The trick is to be creative: start with your favorite piece then add on from there. And don't be afraid to layer both necklaces and bracelets! Keep reading for specific pointers to help you layer like a pro but don't forget, there are no rules when it comes to personal style. You decide how you want to show off your personal energy, and that's exactly how you #FindYourZen!

Read on for all the details and get ready to stack it, layer it, and love it!

🔅 LAYERING BRACELETS

  1. Layer three or more bracelets of different colors to make a statement. I love wearing a mix of ocean elements paired with blue and green gemstones.
  2. Wear wood along side ocean elements. The combination is great for motivation and creates the perfect balance!
  3. Wear different size gems. This adds interest to your ZEN gem stack! For example, two mini gem turquoise bracelets on either side of the Clarity by The Sea Conch Shell Bracelet looks so fresh!

📿 LAYERING NECKLACES

  1. Layer gemstone jewelry in order of size of the pendant (very simple at the top) and thickness of chain. The Floating in Balance or Floating Pearl necklaces are perfect for this as they can be adjusted from choker length to 18.5 inches.
  2. Make sure there is space between the necklaces, roughly an inch or two. Each piece should pop!
  3. Start with two necklaces of differing lengths: a 16” and an 18” or an 18” and a 20”. After that, adding any long necklace!

🌈 COLOR TIPS

  1. Complimentary colors always work! For example, pink Conch Shell paired with a Turquoise pendant looks so fresh and beachy. The Simply Pearl-fect Necklace set above the 30” seafoam green Harmony & Joy Chalcedony Pendant Necklace is bright and calming.
  2. Don’t be afraid to mix and match metals. The combination of gold and silver can show off a piece while highlighting the contrast against the opposite element.
