Create your own Mala with the Tibetan Monks in Key West!

Join the Drepung Gomang Monks (and me) to create a 108-bead prayer mala and learn the mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum.”

Malas are used to generate a more centered meditation practice, peaceful life, and calm mind.

Personalize your mala with Sandalwood and semi-precious gemstone beads, silk cord, and tassel.

Learn the Compassion Buddha mantra  “Om Mani Padme Hum,” a mantra asking for the qualities of wisdom, compassion, and a good heart.

* a guided meditation with Lopön Ellen Booth Church will be held 1pm to 1:40pm after the class.

This event is part of the 2025 SACRED ARTS TOUR – Monday, January 20th thru Sunday, January 26th. The mission for this visit is "Engaging Compassion".

All events during the monks visit in Key West will raise money for the monks' Drepung Gomang Monastery refugee community in India & their work around the world.
